"I recently hired Rebecca for a project, and it was a pleasure working with her. She is diligent, meticulous, proactive, and warm, making her an excellent addition to any team. If I had the opportunity, I would recruit her full-time. I highly recommend Rebecca for her ability to bring soft goods design visions to life."

"I came across Rebecca's work on LinkedIn looking for a freelancer to collaborate with. I chose to collaborate with her on developing a new complex bag concept for a client. From the start, she brought an impressive mix of creativity, professionalism, and adaptability. Despite a challenging brief, Rebecca quickly adjusted to design changes, presented thoughtful solutions, and responded to feedback promptly. She was on it- ALWAYS!"

In a nutshell:
> Trend research, competitor analysis and mood boards
> Design development (usually several rounds built in)
> Tech packs/spec sheets for manufacturers
> Skeleton BOM creation/ Fabric ideas /colour way creation
> Factory communications
> Sample review and feedback -
Sadly not- it is an amazing additional skillset!
I do everything I can to get clients prepped and ready to pass on a thorough tech pack to be sampled though.
I can also support you with factory comms and management if that is something needed. -
I dont have a 'set up' that I feed.
I do have contacts which I always pass along if specialism/reigions align.
I never guarantee a working relationship with anyone- things change all the time and I am not on the pulse.
-
If I've worked on something relevant which is not on this site, and have permission to share it, I'm always happy to do so.
-
I particularly love the start of a project- when the possibilities are so exciting!
I love researching around a briefing and getting totally absorbed before kicking off with initial designs.
-
I will usually map this out once I have more project scope in hand- it can come down to a mixture of my current workload, speed of comms and how complex/large a project is.
-
I usually work on a fixed fee basis, and require a 50% deposit before proceeding with work.
If ongoing support is needed, a bespoke monthly retainer package can be discussed.
There is more information on my services page.
-
This depends on my current workload commitments.
Once I have received a 50% deposit I am always keen to get going when I have availability, or get you booked onto my waitlist.
